Suspected member of robbery hold-up group arrested in Taguig

A suspected member of a robbery hold-up group who is wanted for murder was arrested by the police in Taguig on Aug. 7.

The police identified the suspect as Raven Calvar, 23, who was apprehended by members of the Southern Police District (SPD) Special Operations Unit together with the Makati police at about 6 p.m. at Market! Market! mall in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Calvar is listed as the top 3 most wanted person of the Makati police for the third quarter of 2023.

He was nabbed based on a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Rainald Cajurao Paggao of the Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 142 for murder and frustrated murder.

According to the SPD, Calvar is an alleged member of the Turtosa Dela Cruz robbery hold-up group.

Calvar is detained at the Makati police’s custodial facility.
