P8.1-M shabu seized in Lucena City

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Police seized suspected shabu worth P8.1 million and nabbed a drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in Purok Baybayin 1, Barangay Ibabang Dupay, this city, on Wednesday, August 9.

Quezon police chief Police Col. Ledon Monte identified the suspect as Alibsar Macarangcat Macasari, 37, tagged as a high-value individual and resident of General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite.

Macasari yielded four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets and three knot-tied transparent plastic bags containing suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 400 grams and valued at P8.1 million.

Suspect is under the custody of the Lucena police station custodial facility and he faces drug-related charges.
