The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by former senator Manny Villar and his children, Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc. CEO Manuel Paolo Villar, Senator Mark Villar, and House Deputy Speaker and Las Piñas City Rep. Camille A. Villar.

Also present were Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla, Cavite 4th District Rep. Elpidio F. Barzaga Jr., Bacoor Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Dasmariñas Mayor Jennifer Barzaga, Gen. Trias Mayor Luis Ferrer IV, Imus Mayor Alex L. Advincula, Silang Mayor Kevin A. Anarna, Muntinlupa Mayor Rufino B. Biazon, and Parañaque Mayor Eric Olivarez.
Villar said the landmark venture will feature a hotel, golf course, casino, arena, church, and other leisure and recreational facilities.
“Ang size po nito is equivalent to 10 BGCs, sampung BGC ang equivalent nito (The size of this is 10 times that of Bonifacio Global City),” Villar said.
“Malaki pa ho ito kesa pagsama-samahin niyo ang Ortigas, Makati, 'yung BGC, 'yung Filinvest, malaki pa rin tayo (This is bigger than Ortigas, Makati, BGC, Filinvest combined). Kaya I want Villar Group to be extra proud of this, to show people what we can do.”
The former senator also said the Villar company has taken over Muntinlupa–Cavite Expressway (MCX).
Villar Avenue is a 10-lane road starting at the juncture of The Crossing Cafe and Dear Joe along Daang Hari Road. It is is expected to help reduce travel time from Las Piñas to portions of Bacoor and Dasmariñas.
