The Davao del Norte 1st district Rep. Pantaleon Alvarez--led Partido Reporma welcomed on Wednesday, Aug. 9 veteran journalist Ramon "Mon" Tulfo Jr. into its fold.
"Partido Reporma is excited to announce the addition of respected journalist and influential broadcaster Ramon 'Mon' Tulfo as the official spokesperson of the party. Tulfo's exceptional journalistic acumen and unwavering commitment to uncovering truth align seamlessly with the party's aspiration to usher in a new era of significant reform," read a statement from the party, which was sent to House of Representatives reporters.
Alvarez, Partido Reporma's chairman and president, expressed confidence that Tulfo Jr.'s reputation as a fearless and principled journalist "will amplify the party's message of reform and resonate with Filipinos yearning for positive change".

The partido further said that Tulfo Jr. will "play a pivotal role in advancing Partido Reporma's vision of transparency, effective governance, and responsive public service".
Tulfo Jr. is the brother of Senator Raffy Tulfo and ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo.
Alvarez is a former House Speaker.
