The Department of Health (DOH), through the Bureau of Quarantine, released updated vaccine certificate guidelines for travelers on Wednesday, Aug. 9.
The presentation of vaccination status and a vaccination certificate for Covid-19 is no longer required for international arrivals, and all arriving international travelers will be accepted regardless of vaccination status, DOH said.
Meanwhile, the vaccination requirements for departing international passengers will depend on the country of destination.
The health department recommended that travelers check the requirements of the country to which they are traveling.
Lastly, DOH said that the issuance of the International Certificate of Vaccination for Prophylaxis for Yellow Fever Vaccine and other vaccinations for overseas Filipino workers and seafarers will depend on the requirements of their agency or company.
