BJ Forbes thankful despite daughter's health condition

Former child actor BJ 'Tolits' Forbes is all grown up and hoping to make a showbiz comeback.

"Kung saan may opportunity, kung saan ako kailangan, open ako kahit ano, kung saan may trabaho" he told us.

Note that BJ is also into politics.

He related, "Nasa SK po ako. President po ako ng SK Federation sa aming bayan. Iba rin po ang fulfillment sa politics, sa public service pero yun nga, siguro pahinga muna po ako after this."

"Gusto ko po talagang makabalik sa showbiz dahil hinahanap-hanap ng katawan ko yung akting, yung craft," he added.

"Although siguro kayang pagsabayin pero I feel na medyo matagal na rin akong natigil talaga sa akting so gusto ulit talaga siyang balikan."

BJ is now also a father.

He has a four-year-old daughter with disability.

BJ shared how it all started with her daughter suffering a seizure as a one-year-old.

"Nung nagka-seizure s’ya, na-stroke siya because of lack of oxygen sa kanyang utak so, hndi siya nakakapaglakad, hindi rin siya nakakapagsalita..."

But he is not looking for pity.

Unlike most, BJ doesn't consider the situation a disadvantage.

He actually believe it is a blessing.

He said, "Kasi, yung situation namin kapag na-i-kikwento ko sa mga tao, maraming nata-touch so hindi ko siya masasabi na disadvantage or dagok sa buhay. Inspiring siya e."

"I think ito ang magandang dahilan ng Panginoon kung bakit ibingay niya ito sa amin. Siguro talagang alam ng Panginoon kung gaano ako kalakas kaya sa akin Niya binigay ‘yung pagsubok na ito."
