PRC warns public against unauthorized page

The Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC) on Monday, Aug. 7, warned the public about an unauthorized Facebook page named “PRC Updates.”

It denied any connection with the said page, which often posts “unverified job applications for professionals abroad.”

“The Professional Regulation Commission informs the public that the Facebook page named ‘PRC Updates’ is not, in any way, connected to/or is duly authorized by this Commission,” the regulatory agency wrote on its social media account. 

As a safety precaution, PRC advised the professionals “to refrain from engaging or transacting with any unauthorized Facebook pages.”

The regulatory agency also reminded the public that “PRC shall not be accountable for any misrepresentations thereof.”
