Parañaque LGU receives P5.6-M donation from PCSO

The Parañaque City government received cash donation amounting to P5,600,049.09 from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Monday, August 7.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles visited Parañaque City Hall and personally turned over the check to Mayor Eric Olivarez and was witnessed by Congressman Edwin Olivarez, Dr. Anthony Pulmano, City Treasurer, City Administrator, Atty. Voltaire dela Cruz, and city department heads.

He said the donation is a big help to the city government’s project and programs for city residents.

The mayor thanked the PCSO for providing financial aid to residents who are in need of help.

Olivarez said the PCSO and other national agencies like the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Health (DOH), and PhilHealth are actively providing services to city residents.
