PSE investor briefings to feature 10 CEOs, CFOs

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) announced that corporate executives of 10 publicly listed companies (PLCs) will be at the forefront of PSE STAR: Investor Day on Aug. 16 and 17, 2023.

In a statement, the bourse said these executives will present their financial performance for the first half of the year, strategic initiatives and growth prospects.

The virtual briefing is open to fund managers, equity analysts, shareholders and prospective investors.

“We hope the exposure from this event will generate more interest in the featured companies and result in improved liquidity in their shares and additional research coverage,” said PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon.

Day 1 will start with a message from Monzon followed by speakers from participating PLCs such as: DMCI Holdings Inc., Deputy CFO Joseph Adelbert V. Legasto; SM Investments Corporation Head of Investor Relations, Sustainability and Communications Timothy Daniels; Haus Talk Inc. Investor Relations Officer Francis Miguel R. Madlambayan; Italpinas Development Corporation Chairman and CEO Romolo V. Nati; and ACEN Corporation Chief Strategy Officer Jonathan Back.

Briefings for Day 2 will be led by the following: GT Capital Holdings Inc. CFO Francisco H. Suarez, Jr.; East West Banking Corporation CEO Jerry G. Ngo; Ginebra San Miguel Inc. General Manager Emmanuel B. Macalalag; Puregold Price Club Inc. Special Advisor Juanchito T. Dispo; and Integrated Microelectronics Inc. CEO Arthur R. Tan. PSE COO Atty. Roel A. Refran will deliver the closing message.

On both days, there will be talks on the outlook for the economy as well as the consumer, property and financial sectors by Bloomberg’s analysts.

The event is co-hosted by Bloomberg L.P. with the Fund Managers Association of the Philippines (FMAP) and Trust Officers Association of the Philippines as event partners.
