Liza Dino-Seguerra's father in critical condition: 'Laban papa'

Liza Dino-Seguerra, the partner of musician Ice Seguerra, shared a touching photo of her mom holding hands with her father former Interior and Local Government Undersecretary Martin Dino who is battling stage 4 cancer.

On Facebook, Liza wrote: "A poignant moment where my mom's hand holds not just my dad's, but also years of hurt and healing. Despite his critical condition, her firm grip and resilience whispers strengthâ€¦and forgiveness. Laban papa. Mahal ka namin."

In July, Liza revealed that her father has stage 4 cancer.

Liza said that it has been a year since her father was diagnosed with cancer.

Netizens prayed for her father's healing.

Liza, 42, is former chairperson of the Film Development Council of the Philippines.

In a separate post, Liza reminisced her visit to her father in the hospital last Christmas. She wrote:

"Dec 25, 2022.

"Visited my papa for Christmas. I rarely receive gifts from hindi because hindi nya love language yun,mas presence lalo na pag milestones in my life. But for the first time, nakatanggap ako ng angpao (red envelope) sa kanya. Tuwang-tuwa ako coz I know he was trying and expressing in his own way that he loves me. When time is scarce, savor the small joys."
