Humbled and honored.
That's how Bagong Henerasyon (BH) Party-list Rep. Bernadette Herrera felt after breaking into the Top 7 of the latest RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD) survey on the country’s top performing party-list lawmakers.
But more importantly, Herrera, a deputy minority leader in the House of Representatives, said she would use the survey results to "reinforce their commitment" to representing their constituents' interests effectively.
“We are humbled and grateful for the positive feedback received from our constituents through this performance survey. Their support and approval of our efforts reinforce our commitment to representing their interests effectively in Congress,” Herrera said in a statement.
In the poll conducted from June 25 to July 8 on 10,000 respondents nationwide, Herrera received a job performance rating of 82.1 percent, ranking her among the top seven party-list representatives in term of score.
Herrera, a former deputy speaker said she will use this valuable feedback from her constituents to “further improve our representation and ensure that their interests remain at the forefront".
“We are truly honored by the trust and confidence shown by our constituents in this performance survey. With their continued support, we will strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of every Filipino,” she added.
The latest RPMD survey gathered feedback from constituents to assess the performance and effectiveness of party-list lawmakers in representing people’s interests.
