Human body parts found floating near Tondo pier

Remains of an unidentified man were seen floating in the waters near Pier 16 in Barangay 118, Tondo, Manila.

According to the police report, a seaman went to the Manila Police District (MPD) Raxabago Police Station (PS-1) and reported that he spotted chopped-up human body parts floating near the Apron  680, MSW Berth 5, Pier 16 at 9:50 a.m.

Responding police officers said that the human remains with a black underwear were immediately taken to the funeral parlor.

Authorities are still conducting an in-depth investigation to identify the victim.
