Sylvia Sanchez: 'I'm happy because I gained a daughter'

Sylvia Sanchez recently shared on social media her feelings about her son Arjo Atayde tying the knot with Maine Mendoza. In a post, the seasoned actress noted how she needs to let go of her eldest. "Kailangan kong i let go ang anak kong si Arjo dahil bubuo na siya ng sariling pamilya. But im happy because i gained a daughter and that’s you, Maine," was how she put it. Sylvia then excitedly noted how she can now officially call Maine "my daughter."
"Yeyyyy!!! You will surely enjoy the ride because now you're one of us na," she continued. Sylvia also told the newlywed couple to "enjoy" their life together. "Love you both mga anak," she said. "Finally and officially!! Welcome to the family Mrs. Nicomaine Dei Mendoza Atayde!!! Nakakahappyyyyyy." Of course, Maine responded to the post, writing: "So happy and grateful to have you as my mom!!!" "Alam kong come hell or high water, nandyan kayo for me and Arjo. i love you OG, Mrs. Atayde!" Exactly 10 years after her viral "Arjo cutie" tweet, actress-TV host Maine finally tied the knot with actor-politician Arjo on July 28.
