Muntinlupa's top 1, 7 most wanted persons arrested

The Muntinlupa police arrested the Nos. 1 and 7 most wanted persons accused of rape and  lascivious conduct.  On Aug. 3, personnel from the Muntinlupa police’s Warrant and Subpoena Unit together with the 7th Mobile Force Company apprehended accused Marlon Getigan, 42, security guard, on Alabang-Zapote Road, Barangay Almanza Uno in Las Piñas. Getigan was arrested based on a warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Wehrley Gutierrez-Mendez of the Muntinlupa Family Court Branch 8. He is facing three cases consisting of rape with no bail recommended; two counts of rape by sexual assault with a recommended bail of P200,000 for each count; and for acts of lasciviousness with a recommended bail of P200,000.  The suspect is currently detained at the custodial and detention facility of the Muntinlupa police awaiting the issuance of a commitment order from the court.  Southern Police District chief Brig. Gen. Roderick Mariano commended the team for the arrest of the suspect.  In addition, the Muntinlupa police arrested Ricky Vista on Aug. 3 in Purok 1, Barangay Bayanan, Muntinlupa.  Vista is tagged by the Muntinlupa police as the No. 7 most wanted person for the third quarter of 2023.  Vista was arrested based on a warrant of arrest for lascivious conduct issued by Presiding Judge Philip Aguinaldo of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 207 on July 27.  He is detained at the custodial and detention facility of the Muntinlupa police pending the issuance of a commitment order from the court.
