Cops dismantle drug den, arrest 29 law violators in Bulacan

Bulacan police operatives dismantled an alleged drug den  and arrested 16 drug peddlers, two men wanted for rape, and 11 other lawbreakers and most wanted persons on Friday, August 4.   Reports to Col Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, stated that a drug buy-bust operation by the City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) police in Area B, Purok 7, Brgy. Bagong Buhay resulted in the successful dismantling of a drug den and in the arrest of eight drug suspects. One of the eight drug peddlers that were arrested was identified as Orlando Briones.  Fourteen (14) sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and the marked money were confiscated from the suspects. Bagong Barrio, Pandi; while Joshua Ilang Ilang and three other suspects from Caingin, Bocaue were also all arrested after a series of drug sting operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of Pandi and Bocaue police.  Confiscated were a total of 13 sachets of suspected shabu and bust money. All arrested individuals and the confiscated pieces of evidence were taken to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for investigation and examination.  Appropriate criminal complaints against the suspects are being prepared for filing in court. Meanwhile, Evander Bote, a city level - most wanted person (MWP) of CSJDM for the crime of rape was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 78, City of Malolos. Additionally, Ruel Luvideces, an identified Municipal Level – MWP of Guiguinto, also for the crime of Rape (eight counts), was arrested by Guiguinto police armed with an arrest warrant issued by RTC Branch  4, City of Malolos. Eleven more individuals wanted for various crimes and offenses were arrested in a separate manhunt operation by the tracker teams of Bulacan 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), CSJDM, Bocaue, Angat, Malolos, Marilao, and Norzagaray police.  The accused individuals have been placed under the custody of the arresting stations.
