CAVITE – The provincial government distributed cash incentives to Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) in an event at Cavite State University, Silang Campus, on Wednesday, Aug. 2.

Gov. Jonvic Remulla led the distribution of incentives to Cavite’s 2,400 BHWs and 832 BNS.

Also present during the event were Silang Mayor Kevin Anarna and other local officials.

In a Facebook post, Cavite Provincial Information Office says a total of P27,642,400 was allotted for barangay frontliners for the first semester of 2023.

The cash incentives were given to recognize the efforts of barangay workers who have been instrumental in rolling out various programs to Caviteño communities.
