PLDT Enterprise partners with OsPar I to pioneer smart hospital transformation

Comprehensive digital upgrade, marking a milestone in healthcare innovation with advanced connectivity and real-time patient data access

Ospital ng Paranaque I (OsPar I) is partnering with PLDT Enterprise to deploy state-of-the-art digital technologies to transform healthcare delivery and hospital operations. This alliance marks a significant step towards turning OsPar I into a 'Smart Hospital,' utilizing cutting-edge solutions to improve efficiency, enhance patient experience, and optimize business processes.


The collaboration will include a comprehensive upgrade of PLDT Enterprise's offerings at OsPar I, such as enhanced connectivity, telephony systems, structured cabling, and broadband services. One of the significant technological integrations will be PLDT Enterprise's SIP Trunks and Managed PABX solutions. This will facilitate seamless and efficient communication across all departments within the hospital, including emergency rooms, delivery rooms, operating rooms, outpatient departments, and ancillary services.

Vincent R. Rodriguez, PLDT Enterprise Business Head, said, "We're pleased to contribute robust, secure, and reliable internet broadband connections, supporting OsPar I in its journey towards digital transformation."

The implementation of these technologies is set to make a significant impact on the healthcare sector in Paranaque City. By leveraging PLDT Enterprise's advanced tech solutions, OsPar I can access crucial patient information in real-time, which is vital for prompt diagnosis and personalized treatment plans.

In a recent turnover ceremony, OsPar I and PLDT Enterprise inaugurated a Dialysis Center, a significant milestone in the hospital's digital journey. The new Dialysis Center and the Intensive Care Unit will be equipped with the latest digital tools to improve patient care and operational efficiency further.


Hospital Director Dr. Jefferson R. Pagsisihan stated, "The digital solutions provided by PLDT Enterprise will revolutionize our healthcare services, enabling us to offer an efficient and transparent healthcare system to our community."

This partnership is a part of PLDT Enterprise's ongoing commitment to empowering organizations to adapt to evolving technological needs, promoting efficiency, continuity, and connectivity.

Rodriguez summed up the vision, stating, "PLDT Enterprise is committed to advancing further with OsPar I in digital transformation. A Smart Healthcare System is fundamental to the well-being of Smart Citizens, constituting a basic unit of a Smart City."

OsPar I, located along Quirino Ave. in Bgy. La Huerta in Paranaque City has been an accredited healthcare provider for over 45 years and is the first local government hospital in the city to initiate such a tech-driven approach. The collaboration with PLDT Enterprise is set to make OsPar I a role model for digitally inclusive and advanced healthcare in the region.
