Parañaque hospital receives license to operate for additional medical services
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez announced that the Department of Health (DOH) gave the Ospital ng Parañaque (OsPar)-2 a license to operate (LTO) for additional medical services on Aug. 29.
Olivarez said the DOH allowed OsPar-2 to operate intensive care unit (ICU), neonatal intensive care unit, dialysis clinic with nine stations and tertiary level clinical laboratory.
He congratulated the OsPar-2, under the supervision of hospital medical director Dr. Patrick Ismael Cruz II, after acquiring the license, which would provide better services to residents.
The mayor also said the license is further proof of the city government's tireless efforts in continuing to give healthcare services to residents, especially those who belong to vulnerable sectors.
Olivarez added that the city government will continue to give support to OsPar-2, including the city’s other hospital, OsPar-1 under medical director Dr. Jefferson Pagsisihan.
The DOH gave OsPar-2 an LTO on December 2022 as Level I General Hospital. The hospital was formally opened to operate on Feb.10 of this year.
