Muntinlupa LGU records 4 new Covid-19 cases in past week
The Muntinlupa City government recorded four new Covid-19 cases and two active cases in the past week.
Data from the Muntinlupa City Health Office (CHO) showed from Aug. 22 to 28, confirmed cases rose from 47,311 to 47,315, up by four cases, compared to one new case from Aug. 15 to 21.

During the same period, Muntinlupa tallied two active Covid-19 cases, up from one in the previous week.
The two active cases are registered in Barangays Poblacion and Putatan, while the remaining seven barangays have zero cases.
In the past week, there were two patients who have recovered from Covid-19, rising from 46,646 in the previous week to 46,648 as of Aug. 28.
Muntinlupa recorded one death in the new tally, rising from 664 to 665. There are zero probable and suspect cases.
Nationwide, the Department of Health (DOH) tallied an increase in the number of new Covid-19 cases.
From Aug. 21 to 27, the DOH said there are 801 new Covid-19 cases in the country, or a daily average of 114 cases, an increase of two percent compared to the total from Aug. 14 to 20.
There are an additional 13 severe and critical cases and six deaths that happened from Aug. 14 to 27.
