Mayor Honey inspects ongoing construction of schools in Ermita and Tondo

Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction of the Manila Science High School in Ermita and Rosauro Almario Elementary School in Tondo on Tuesday, Aug. 29.
She said the construction of the schools is nearing completion.

The Manila Science High School is 95 percent done and will have 158 classrooms, an auditorium, a gymnasium, and other amenities.
It is expected to cater to more than 5,500 students with a 35-student capacity per classroom.
Meanwhile, Rosauro Almario Elementary School is 89.50 percent complete.
At least 8,000 students can be accommodated in its 227 classrooms.
According to the City Department of Engineering and Public Works, both schools will open this year.
