“A taste of the (Philippines) carinderia in (France)!” he recently wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
The EU ambassador sampled some of the Pinoy delicacies in “BOBI,” a Filipino eatery “in the heart of Paris.”
“Adobo, Tinola, Bicol Express, Ube ice cream, and (my personal favorite) Chicken Inasal in the heart of Paris (France)!" Veron said.
Carinderia is a type of eatery in the Philippines that serves affordable dishes. It is a convenient and affordable dining option for Filipinos from all walks of life.
The EU envoy, who had also enjoyed sampling Filipino snacks in his #MeriendaNiLuc series, posted photos of himself with what looked to be the eatery’s Filipino crew.
He was also seen eating ube ice cream and an assortment of Filipino food in front of him.
“Thank you to Jessica from Batangas for hosting Nicole and I. Awesome to see Parisians lining up for 'BOBI',” he added.
