2 drug pushers busted, P600,000 shabu seized

CAMP GEN. PACIANO RIZAL, Laguna – Two suspected drug pushers were nabbed and shabu worth P598,000 was seized in buy-bust operations by the police in Calamba City, this province, on Tuesday night, August 29.

Laguna police chief Police Col. Harold Depositar identified the suspects as Calamba City residents Corazon and Jose.

Corazon, a high-value individual, was arrested in Gitnang Bukid, Barangay Bañadero.

She yielded five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 86 grams and valued at P584,800 and the marked money,

Jose was apprehended in Barangay 3. Recovered from him were two grams of shabu worth P13,600.

They are now in the custody of the Calamba police and face cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
