Suspect in fatal shooting of man surrenders to Pasay Mayor Emi
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano announced the surrender of the alleged gunman in the killing of a 51-year-old man last July 31.
Rubiano said the suspect, Rener Saddi, personally surrendered to her office on Aug. 3, three days after he gunned down the victim, Marlon Avila, of Kapisanan St., Barangay 162, Malibay, Pasay City.
Saddi was with two other suspects when he killed Avila, one of them was identified as Roger Rabbie, alias “Toto", who was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 2.
According to the report of Col. Froilan Uy, city police chief, a follow-up operation is ongoing for the arrest of the other suspect identified as Elberth Samson.
Rubiano said Saddi told that her that he decided to surrender for fear for his life.
The suspect admitted that they killed Avila because the latter was bullying them.
The mayor commended Uy and the entire city police force for their immediate action on the killing Avila.
