Several Metro Manila HEIs suspend classes due to inclement weather
Various Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Metro Manila announced class suspension and rescheduling of student activities due to inclement weather on Thursday, Aug. 3

HEIs such as Mapua University, De La Salle University (DLSU), Far Eastern University (FEU), Colegio de San Juan de Letrán (CSJL), University of Santo Tomas (UST), St. Paul University Manila (SPUM), University of the East (UE), National University (NU), Philippine Normal University (PNU), City of Malabon University (CMU), Universidad de Manila (UDM), and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) confirmed the suspension of online and face-to-face classes. “Exams scheduled today will be rescheduled on Aug. 7,” Mapua University added. Moreover, the FEU Nursing Clinical Graduation Ceremony at the PICC and online activities will push through according to their Facebook post. The City of Manila also announced the suspension of classes in all levels in public and private schools in the city as the southwest monsoon brought heavy rains to Metro Manila.
