SB19 makes waves abroad


After the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors in Northern California declared July 28 as SB19 Day, the Filipino pop boy band marked a new milestone, performing on television in Los Angeles.

The five-member group visited the studio of "KTLA 5 Morning News," where they promoted their new extended play (EP) "Pagtatag."

They also performed their well-loved single “GENTO” there.

"What a great way to start our day! Thank you so much for having us KTLA 5 News KTLA 5 Morning News!," read SB19's post on Facebook which include several behind-the-scenes photos.

In the said episode, the host introduced SB19 as the "unstoppable group from the Philippines, who have shattered records, gained fans all over the globe..."

Note that the group are currently abroad for their "SB19 Patatag! World Tour."

After visiting Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles last month, they will also be performing in New York and Washington on Aug. 5 and 6, respectively.

They will also have a four-day tour of Canada.

During their stay abroad, SB19 also performed on Wish USA and shoot some scenes for their music at Hollywood Boulevard, featuring the historic El Capitan Theater and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Pablo, Stell, Ken, Justin, and Josh's SB19 group was formed in 2016 by ShowBT Philippines.
