Muntinlupa's No. 9 most wanted person arrested

A 46-year-old mechanic, tagged as the No. 9 most wanted person by the Muntinlupa police, was arrested on Aug. 2.  Southern Police District (SPD) chief Brig. Gen. Roderick Mariano identified the suspect as Michael Matañosa who was arrested on National Road in Barangay Putatan.  The suspect (Photo from Muntinlupa police / SPD)
Personnel from the Muntinlupa police’s Warrant and Subpoena Section apprehended Matañosa based on a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Liezel Aquiatan of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 205.  The warrant was issued in connection with the accused's case dated July 25 for alleged possession of illegal drugs under Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).  Matañosa is detained at the custodial and detention facility of the Muntinlupa police.
