Life lessons from Ruffa Gutierrez for daughter Lorin

By Alex Salva Quiño Actress and former beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez wrote a heartfelt message to her lovely daughter Lorin Gutierrez Bektas. She turns 20 years old today, August 3. "To my firstborn, I can't believe you're 20 today!! Time flies, indeed. You woke up this morning in disbelief that you're not a teenager anymore," she wrote.  Ruffa advises her daughter to navigate the complexities of life. She also encourages Lorin to be brave, take chances, and enjoy her youth, and assures her of the family's support in all her endeavors.

"Yes, Lorini pie. Life can be complex and daunting at times, but it's also full of surprises. Try. Take chances. You're a strong, determined, courageous young lady with a lot of faith. Enjoy your youth and not having to pay the bills...for now," she said. The actress hopes that all of her daughter's dreams will come true and advises her to always remain good and keep praying. She ends her message by expressing her immense love for Lorin and wishing her a happy birthday. "Here's wishing you faith, courage, and commitment to succeed in all walks of life. Know that your entire family will hold your hand and support you in all of your endeavors. Fly high, my baby girl. May all of your dreams and aspirations come true. Always be good. Always pray. Happy birthday, Lorin. I love you sooo much. Your forever love, Mommy," ends the post.
