Kapuso star Bea Alonzo revealed that she felt excited and thrilled about the recent celebrity weddings. She even watched them on videos with her fiancé, actor Dominic Roque.

During the media conference organized by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in Quezon City last Aug. 1, Bea revealed that they have not made any definite arrangements for their wedding yet. However, Bea mentioned that she and Dominic plan to start considering potential godparents for their wedding.

"Ang daming nagtatanong sa akin at nagtetext kung ano na ang plano namin sa wedding pero pinoproseso pa namin yung pakiramdam ng bagong engaged. Alam naming hindi na namin mababalikan ang feeling na ito. Ayaw muna namin ma-stress sa wedding plans. In fact wala pa kaming nakukuhang wedding planner.

"Ang ginagawa namin ngayon is to watch wedding videos ng mga recent wedding na sunod-sunod at get-inspired, makakuha ng tips kung sakaling magpa-plano na kami. Pero sa ngayon gusto muna namin ma-enjoy yung pagiging engaged as a couple," said Bea.

Asked if she would consider a farm wedding, Bea said: "Naku si mama, magugustuhan yan. Pangarap n'ya talaga yan. Wala pa talaga. Gusto muna namin kiligin sa pag-uusap kung ano ang mga tamang plan."

Given the choice, Bea said she would love to have an intimate wedding.

"Definitely I want it to be an intimate wedding. Pangarap namin yun. Kahit na may gusto kami, marami pa ring considerations like mga bisita, kamag-anak namin. Marami na kaming ideas pero ayaw muna naming i-share mahirap na baka hindi pa matuloy," she added.

Bea said that she would also discuss with Dominic about making their wedding public.

"I would like to think yung mga tao naging parte sila ng journey ko. From all my heartbreaks hanggang sa nakita ko na now yung the one, parang ayaw ko naman ipagdamot sa kanila. I want people to inspire. Ang dami kong nakikita sa comments box ko na dati hindi sila naniniwala sa love kasi pareho kami ng pinagdaanan. Hindi ko alam up to what extent namin we will share our wedding. Hindi naman sa akin lang ang decision kundi sa mapapangasawa ko rin. Pag-uusapan pa namin yun," she added.

Bea also said that she's ready to become Mrs. Roque. "Oo naman. Hindi naman ako magye-yes kung hindi. Pero hindi pa namin alam kung kelan."

On having children, Bea smiled and said: "Si Dom gusto nya walo. Sabi ko naman paano yun eh 35 na ako?"

Bea said that she and Dom were really planning to announce their engagement after the GMA Gala held last July 22. But they decided to announce it after photos of the proposal leaked.

"May mga nagleak na photos. Naunahan kami ng nagleak. Pero parang naging celebration din namin yun ni Dom kasi nakasama ko na yung mga friends ko from ABS-CBN and my new friends from GMA," she said.

Bea said that many of their friends were offering to be principal sponsors for their wedding.

"Marami po ang nagpi-prisina. Sobrang sweet naman nila kasi ibig sabihin love nila kami. Pero sabi ko kay Dom dapat pag-usapan na namin yan this week para may list na kami," she said.

Sought to name names about the possible godparents, Bea laughed and said: "Secret muna. Baka kasi hindi sila pumayag."

Bea said that she was happy when the PSA offered her to be the celebrity endorser for the 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries.

"I was happy to do it. When it was offered to me, hindi pa ako nagdalawang isip. This is very dear and close to my heart. I am a farm owner myself. I have Beati Firma Farm 12 years ago," she said.

Bea also said that she would be willing to help the PSA in the kick-off ceremony for the national census, which is done every 10 years.

"If I get invited, bakit hindi? I am also offering my platform for social media as well to raise awareness para hindi po natatakot yung iba sa enumarators," she said.
