Rob Gomez to Shaila Rebortera, daughter Amelia: 'I can't wait to have you both back in my arms...'

Rob Gomez earned approval from colleagues and fans alike recently making public his effort to win back his estranged partner Shaila Rebortera who left their abode not long ago with their infant daughter Amelia.

Posting a photo of them together on Instagram over the weekend, the actor wrote, “I now understand why distance is the hardest thing to give family...This is my why, my princess, my queen, my sunshine and my world. My choice every day, in this lifetime and the next. You are not an option for me to lose."

He added, "I can't wait to have you both back in my arms. I’m sorry I said yes to being single when I’m not. I promise to keep my promises to you this time. I love you and Amelia more than anything in the world!”

It quickly earned more than 9,000 likes.

Some of these came from fellow actors including David Licauco, Gil Cuerva, Herlene Budol.

Trouble between the couple started when Rob hinted on “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” that he is single.

Just a few hours later, Shaila took to social media to reveal she and Rob are together and that they have a daughter.

The issue could’ve simply died down but Shaila shocked many posting photos of her bruised arms not long after.

She said, "After over a year of being silent about the abuse, I'm happy I was able to speak the truth.

"Just hours after the photos of the bruises were uploaded, his mother asked me to say sorry in exchange for being able to stay with them.

"I decided to leave."

Shaila is yet to issue a statement relating to Rob’s post as of writing.
