Bohol governor distributes aid totaling P3 M to barangays


CEBU CITY – The provincial government of Bohol distributed cash assistance amounting to more than P3 million to various barangays.

Bohol Gov. Aris Aumentado said the financial assistance will be used to fund the various projects of the recipients.  

Aumentando handed P1 million to Barangay Del Carmen Norte in Balilihan town.The budget will be used for the barangay’s newly constructed multi-purpose hall.

Barangay Napo in Loon town also received P1 million for the construction of its evacuation center.

The governor also turned over P500,000 to three barangays in Maribojoc town.

Barangay Anislag received P200,000 for the extension of its multi-purpose building while P200,000 was also given to Barangay Bood for its solar power street-lighting and road projects.

Another P100,000 was turned over to Barangay Lagtangon.

The governor also handed over P265,000 to Barangay Bungahan in Antequera town.

Cash assistance worth P65,000 was also given to Barangay Tupas, Antequera.

In Loon town, Aumentado turned over P60,000 to Barangay Catagbacan Handig for its barangay day celebrations.

Barangay Quinobcoban in Loon town also got P100,000 for its waterworks system project.

Aumentando also visited Barangay Tontonan in Loon where he turned over P25,000 for the purchase of movable tents.

Another P115,000 was given to Barangay Del Carmen Surin Balilihan for its socio-cultural activities.

The governor also distributed P10,000 to Barangay Calayugan Norte and another P60,000 to Barangay Badbad in Loon.

“Our barangays can always expect that the provincial government will be ready to provide necessary assistance,” Aumentado said.

The governor said he will continue his barangay visitations to bring the province’s services closer to the Boholanos.
