Ateneo issues application period advisory for college admission

The Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) issued an advisory on Tuesday, Aug. 29, regarding the upcoming application period for first-year college and transfer students for the School Year (SY) 2024-2025.

In its official website post, the university confirmed that the application period for college admissions would be opening in a few days.

As the university expects a surge of application submissions, the university issued some important tips and reminders to guide the applicants.

First, read up on qualifications for first-year and transfer entry, degree program options, and basic application requirements at https://www.ateneo.edu/college/admissions/apply.

Then, complete the requirements at the application portal.

However, “the official opening of the portal will be announced soon,” said AdMU.

AdMU noted that since the application procedure will be conducted entirely online, printed and hard copies will not be accepted. The requirements must be submitted in digital or Portable Document Format (PDF) format.

Additionally, decide on the degree programs that applicants are interested in applying for and list them down.

Lastly, the university emphasized that “organizing your thoughts” for application essays is an essential part of that application.

AdMU added to use this essay to elaborate on at least one meaningful experience or accomplishment that has helped define you as a person.
