Yuka Saso limped home with a closing 1-over-par 73 to finish tied for eighth place in the CPKC Women’s Open at the Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club in Vancouver, Canada on Sunday, Aug. 27.

Saso, who had earlier rounds of 66, 73 and 72, struggled at the front nine with three bogeys against a lone birdie on the sixth.
She picked up her game at the back nine with birdies on the 11th and 14th, but faltered with a bogey on the last hole.
Saso’s performance tied her with In Gee Chun (69) and Jodi Ewart Shadoff (73), and earned her $56,954 (around P3.2 million).
Like Saso, fellow Tokyo Olympian Bianca Pagdanganan also staggered with a third straight 73 for 290 at joint 32nd.
After firing three birdies against a single bogey in the first 13 holes, Pagdanganan had a rollercoaster performance with a bogey on the 14th, followed by a birdie, a double bogey and another bogey on the next three holes.
She tied with eight others that include world No. 4 Nelly Korda and pocketed $17,308 (around Php980,000).
