Yuka Saso trails leader by 6 in CPCK Women's Open

Yuka Saso carded an even-par 72 for a share of fourth place after three rounds in the CPKC Women’s Open at the Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club in Vancouver, Canada on Saturday, Aug. 26.

The Fil-Japanese shot three birdies against the same amount of bogeys to post a three-round total of 211 following earlier rounds of 66 and 73.

She tied with England’s Georgia Hall (70) and trailed solo leader Megan Khang by six strokes after the American fired a 68 for 205.

Khang, seeking her first LPGA title, birdied four of the last five holes to pad her lead to three strokes behind closest pursuer Sei Young Kim.

Kim closed in on Khang with a 67 for 208, highlighted by a hole-in-one on the eighth hole and an eagle on the 14^th.

Meanwhile, Bianca Pagdanganan stumbled on a second straight 73 to share the crowded 24^th place with 217.

The 2020 Tokyo Olympian fumbled with a double-bogey on the fourth, then shot three birdies against two bogeys.
