Khang, seeking her first LPGA title, birdied four of the last five holes to pad her lead to three strokes behind closest pursuer Sei Young Kim.
Kim closed in on Khang with a 67 for 208, highlighted by a hole-in-one on the eighth hole and an eagle on the 14th.
Meanwhile, Bianca Pagdanganan stumbled on a second straight 73 to share the crowded 24th place with 217.
The 2020 Tokyo Olympian fumbled with a double-bogey on the fourth, then shot three birdies against two bogeys.
