P3PWD Party-list nominee Rowena Guanzon wrote an X post (formerly Twitter) as her final goodbye to Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Secretary Susan "Toots" Ople, who recently passed away.
"Rest in God's embrace, Susan "Toots" Ople. You have served your people well, but God first.#harvardksg," wrote Guanzon, a proud kakampink.
Guanzon's tribute to Ople on social media was just one of many that have been written about the migrant Filipino workers advocate since her death last Aug. 22. She was 61.
Ople, daughter of the beloved late senator Blas Ople, was the first ever secretary of the DMW, an agency created just one year ago.
