Fire hits appliance store in Marilao, Bulacan

A fire gutted an appliance store in Barangay Prenza 2, Marilao, Bulacan on Sunday, August 27.

Based on the initial investigation of the Marilao police station, the fire at Unihome General Mechandize, a business establishment in Barangay Lome De Gato of Marilao, started at around 11:00 in the morning and was reported to the police at around 1:30 in the afternoon.

Marilao police said they immediately proceeded to the place and called the attention of Marilao Fire Station as well as the nearby Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

The BFP has yet to release a report regarding the fire incident.

Upon arrival, Marilao police secured the perimeter of the place and managed the flow of traffic.

As of press time, no casualty has been reported and the amount of damages is yet to be determined.

The cause of fire is still under investigation.
