Eleven families lost their homes after a fire gutted seven houses in a residental and commercial area in Barangay St. Peter, Quezon City on Saturday evening, Aug. 26.
The Bureau of FIre Protection (BFP) said the fire status was raised to the first alarm at 11:55 p.m., escalating to second alarm at 11:57 p.m.

The fire was declared under control at 1:01 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 27, and was extinguished at 2:10 a.m.
Probers placed an estimated P300,000 cost of damages to property caused by the blaze.
No one was reported injured during the incident.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire, which reportedly originated from the second floor of a two-storey residential and commercial building in the area.
