CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – The “Wheels of Hope” project of the 13th Regional Mobile Force Battalion has benefited a family of New People’s Army (NPA) returnees in La Paz, Agusan del Sur.
PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft lauded this simple but noble act of kindness displayed by police officers who also gave food packs and wheelchairs to children suffering from polio.
The wheelchairs were among the proceeds of the 5th RMFB-13 charity run dubbed “Run Move for Betterment.”
These wheelchairs were an initiative of former battalion commander, Police Col. Harry B. Domingo, and continued by officer-in-charge Police Lt. Col. Richie M. Yatar.
“I commend the men and women of RMFB-13 for initiating this project that reflects our genuine desire to help those who are in need,” Kraft said.
Kraft urged other units to replicate the RMFB-13’s noble act in their areas of jurisdictions.
