Lamentillo, the author of the mentioned book and a former chair of the "Build, Build, Build" committee, aims to share with a broader audience the positive impact of infrastructure projects during the administration of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

"It is worth sharing how through Build Build Build we were able to improve people's lives and uplift communities, especially those who previously did not have access to or had difficulty accessing schools, markets, hospitals, livelihood opportunities, and basic services," she said.

Lamentillo said the translation of her book into Bisaya and Ilokano is intended as a dedication to former and current Philippine leaders Duterte and Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

Duterte, who is a Bisaya, completed a "29,264-kilometer of roads, 5,950 bridges, 11,340 flood mitigation structures, 222 evacuation centers, 150,149 classrooms, 214 airport projects, and 451 seaport projects" under the five-year span of his administration.

Marcos, an Ilocano, is currently in the second year of his leadership, keeping his promise to continue the infrastructure initiatives that the former administration initiated.

Moreover, the Hiligaynon edition of the book is to honor Lamentillo's hometown, the province of Iloilo.

A chapter in the book is devoted to DICT's digital infrastructure initiatives during Marcos' administration.

It was made through the gain of "Build Build Build" while incorporating a strong digital infrastructure program aimed to guarantee that all Filipinos could access "affordable and reliable" internet services.

This will offer Filipinos the chance to acquire new technological skills and the privilege to access online learning, telemedicine, online banking, and other digital services. (Sonny Daanoy)
