Filipino actress Lovi Poe and long-time British boyfriend producer Montey Blencowe tied the knot during a romantic garden wedding at the Cliveden House in Berkshire, England, Saturday afternoon, Aug. 26.

"I have found the one who makes my soul sing," said Lovi moments before the wedding.

Those who attended the intimate wedding were the couple's family and friends, including Senator Grace Poe, half-sister of Lovi, celebrity doctors Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho, and producer-talent manager Leo Dominguez.

Lovi, 34, and Monty announced their engagement on social media last Aug. 8.

"A couple of years ago, there were two coffees, one sunrise, and a ring. We’ve shared and celebrated this moment quietly with our family and closest friends, so we’re now more than happy to share this sweet #lifeupdate with you," wrote Lovi on Instagram as she shared a clip wearing a ring near a beach.

Lovi and Montey are in a long-distance relationship. The daughter of the late Fernando Poe Jr. is based in Manila, while Montey stays in Los Angeles. Despite the distance, the couple said that they were happy.

Currently, Lovi stars in the popular Kapamilya primetime series "FPJ's Batang Quiapo" where she plays Mokang, the love interest of Coco Martin (Tanggol).

Prior, in the digital cover of Metro, the Kapamilya actress detailed her meet-cute with fiancé in Hollywood, what happened during the proposal—the first attempt and the actual one—and their ongoing preparations for the upcoming wedding.

The Metro cover shoot was shrouded in secrecy for months. Even on the day of the shoot itself, everything still seemed so surreal for everyone, Lovi included. 

“It feels weird because I’m used to doing shoots, but this one’s different. I was nervous. Now it’s reminding me that it’s really happening this time,” she said.
