Water service disruption expected in Caloocan, Cavite, Malabon, Parañaque, QC

Maynilad Water Services, Inc. announced a week-long service disruption starting Monday that will affect Caloocan, Cavite, Malabon, Navotas, Parañaque, and Quezon City. 

According to Maynilad, these interruptions in its services are necessary to carry out network maintenance.

Maintenance activities are scheduled to begin on Monday, Aug. 28 during the late evening hours. They will continue until Sept. 4.

Below are the list of areas affected and their schedule:

 

Aug. 28

  • 1 AM to 4 AM – Bacoor City [Alima, Banalo, Camposanto, Daang Bukid, Digman, Habay I, Kaingin, Mabolo I, Mabolo II, Maliksi I to Maliksi III, Seneguelasan and Tabing Dagat (Poblacion)]

Aug. 28 to 29

  • 10 PM to 6 AM – Caloocan City (Brgy. 169)
  • 10 PM to  6 AM – Quezon City (Nagkaisang Nayon and San Agustin)

Aug. 29 to 30

  • 10 PM to 6 AM – Quezon City (Bagbag, Labrador, San Agustin, San Bartolome, San Isidro, and Salvacion)

Aug. 31

  • 12 AM to 4 AM – Parañaque City (Tambo)

Aug. 30 to 31

  • 10 PM to 6 AM – Caloocan City (Brgys. 168, 171, and 173)
  • 10 PM to 6 AM – Quezon City (Nagkaisang Nayon, San Agustin)

Aug. 31 to Sept. 1

  • 9 PM to 6 AM – Malabon City (Baritan, Bayan-Bayanan, Concepcion, Dampalit, Flores, Hulong Duhat, Ibaba, Muzon, Niugan, Potrero, San Agustin and Tanong)
  • 9 PM to 6 AM – Navotas (Bagumbayan North, Bagumbayan South, Daanghari, Navotas East, Navotas West, San Jose, San Roque, Sipac-Almacen, Tangos North, Tangos South, Tanza 1 and Tanza 2)
  • 10 PM to 6 AM – Quezon City (Doña Imelda, Nova Proper, Santol, Sta. Monica)

Sept. 1 to 2

  • 10 PM to 6 AM – Quezon City (Lourdes, San Isidro Labrador, Paang Bundok, and Salvacion)

Sept. 2 to 3

  • 10 PM to 6 AM – Quezon City (Sta. Teresita)

Sept. 3 to 4

  • 10 PM to 6 AM – Quezon City (Sangandaan)

 

To mitigate the inconvenience caused by the service disruption, Maynilad will deploy water tankers to assist residents who require immediate water supply. 

Additionally, Maynilad is urging residents to ensure they have an ample supply of water stored prior the maintenance period. (Gabriell Christel Galang)
