Police nab 2 rape suspects

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – Police arrested two rape suspects on Thursday, August 24, in Quezon and Batangas provinces.

The Police Regional Office 4-A identified the suspects as Crispin Reyes, 42, a resident of General Nakar, Quezon, and Roberto Palma, 53, of Barangay Santo Niño, Ibaan, Batangas.

Reyes, arrested in General Nakar on warrants issued by Judge Romeo Buenaventura, presiding judge, Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 65 in Infanta, Quezon dated March 5, 2020, was the No. 1 most wanted person on the regional level in the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon or Calabarzon area. 

No bail was recommended for the suspect who is now in the custody of the General Nakar police station.

Palma was apprehended in Barangay Santo Niño on a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Florencio Arellano, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, Branch 1, Batangas City dated October 9, 2014. 

No bail was recommended for the release of Palma, who is in the custody of the Ibaan Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
