Murder suspect falls in Batangas City


CAMP MIGUEL MALVAR, Batangas City – Police arrested a 35-year-old man wanted for the murder of a fraternity member in Barangay Santa Rita Karsada, this city, on August 23. 

The Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO) identified the suspect as Felicimo Padilla, a resident of Barangay Santa Rita Karsada, and considered as the most wanted person here.

The Batangas City Police Station, with the Provincial Intelligence Unit, Maritime Police Station, and Special Operation Unit-3, served the warrant of arrest for murder on Padilla issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 4 here with no bail recommended.

Police said Padilla allegedly shot Delfin Gonday last October 23 during a drinking spree celebrating the Batangas Varsitarian Fraternity anniversary. 

Gonday was taken to the Batangas Medical Center where he was declared dead.

Padilla is now in the custody of the Batangas City police custodial facility.
