Manila Water Co. has announced a week-long service interruption that will affect six municipalities in Rizal.
Beginning Friday evening, Aug. 25, residents in Montalban, Taytay, Cainta, Antipolo, Angono, and Binangonan will experience temporary interruptions in their water supply due to Manila Water’s line maintenance.
The water concessionaire’s maintenance activities will take place during late evenings and early mornings, with the operations expected to finish on Friday, Sept. 1.
The schedule and the affected areas are as follows:
Aug. 25 to 26, from 10 PM to 4 AM
- Parts of Brgy. Manggahan, Montalban
- Parts of Brgy. San Juan, Taytay
Aug. 29 to 30, from 10 PM to 6 AM
- Parts of Brgy. Sto. Domingo, Cainta
- Parts of Brgy. Muntidilaw, Antipolo
Aug. 30 to 31, from 10 PM to 4 AM
- Parts of Brgy. San Vicente, Angono
Aug. 31 to Sept. 1, from 10 PM to 4 AM
- Parts of Brgy. San Roque, Angono
To mitigate the inconvenience caused by the service disruption, residents of Rizal are advised to stock up on an adequate water supply until the improvements are completed.
Once the water service is restored, it is recommended to let the water flow out initially to ensure optimal quality. (Gabriell Christel Galang)
