DOLE warns public vs unauthorized sale of 'TUPAD' merch online
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Thursday, Aug. 24, warned the public against the unauthorized reproduction, distribution, and selling of materials related to its projects.

In a social media post of DOLE National Capital Region, it advised the public that the sale of Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) handbooks, shirts, and caps is prohibited.
“The public is encouraged to report directly to DOLE any information on individuals or entities who are illegally conducting said activities and they shall be dealt with accordingly,” DOLE said.
This, as the agency received information that some individuals are taking advantage of the TUPAD program by selling the merch freely distributed to its members.
TUPAD is a community-based assistance program of DOLE which provides emergency employment to displaced workers, underemployed, and seasonal workers for a minimum period of 10 days but not to exceeding a maximum of 30 days. (Nicole Magmanlac)
