Drug suspect arrested in Pasay City

A 19-year-old man wanted for illegal possession of drugs was arrested during a manhunt operation conducted on Thursday, Aug. 24, in Pasay City.

Col. Froilan Uy, Pasay City police chief, submitted a report to Southern Police District (SPD), detailing the arrest of John Jomel Allarse, tagged as the top nine wanted person.

Uy said the suspect was arrested at around 2:00 p.m. along Santos St., in Barangay 172, Zone 17, Malibay, Pasay City.

He said members of the Mobile Force Company- Regional Mobile Force Battalion (MFC-RMFB) of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), in coordination with members of the Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS), conducted a manhunt operation against wanted persons in the city.

Allarse was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Christian Castaneda of Pasay City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 109 for illegal possession of drugs on July 28, 2023.

The suspect was immediately detained at the Pasay police custodial facility after his arrest.
