Governor Daniel R. Fernando and Vice Governor Alexis C. Castro led the distribution of relief goods on Wednesday, August 23, in the coastal village of Pamarawan, a fishing community in the City of Malolos with a rich source of fish, crabs, and shrimps.

The relief goods were from Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and part of the relief packages turned over by President Marcos during his visit to the province last August 7 for families affected by the recent widespread flooding brought about by the southwest monsoon enhanced by Typhoons Egay and Falcon.

Fernando and Castro joined the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) employees headed by Rowena J. Tiongson in taking a motor boat to reach the coastal village.

More than 1,000 families received the relief package.

Earlier, Fernando and Castro distributed around 500 relief goods in Barangay Calero, also a coastal village in the City of Malolos.
