The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday, Aug. 24 cancelled the in-person mass oathtaking of new nurses in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan due to a limited number of possible attendees.

"Due to the limited number of inductees, the scheduled face-to-face mass oathtaking of the new Nurses on August 24, 2023 in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan is hereby cancelled," PRC said in a social media post.
Meanwhile, PRC said that concerned inductees may participate in the online oathtaking, which is scheduled on Aug. 29, via Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
PRC said oath takers must wear a gala uniform and cap and use a white backdrop (white physical or virtual background) upon attending the virtual ceremony.
Similar to in-person oathtaking, passers must also print the "Oath of Professional” form, which is downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.
For the "step-by-step procedure," PRC suggested attendees to check the "online oathtaking application system: https://www.prc.gov.ph/.../online-oathtaking.../4532." (Sonny Daanoy)
