PCSO turns over medical equipment to Bacoor City

Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Executive Assistant VI Arnold "Bong" Arriola spearheaded the turnover ceremony of medical equipment to the city government of Bacoor in Cavite province.

During the event at the PCSO head office in Mandaluyong City on Aug. 17, various medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, nebulizers, and blood pressure apparatus, were handed over to Bacoor City, represented by Richard T. Quion, head of the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (BDRRMO). 

"Nagbigay ang PCSO ng mga kagamitang medikal gaya ng wheelchairs, nebulizers at BP apparatus para sa mga mahihirap na residente ng bayan ng Bacoor, Cavite sa ilalim ng pamamahala ng butihing Alkalde ng bayan na si Kgg. Strike B. Revilla (The PCSO provided medical equipment such as wheelchairs, nebulizers, and blood pressure apparatus to the residents of the town of Bacoor, Cavite under the leadership of City Mayor, Strike B. Revilla)," PCSO said in a social media post.

Quion emphasized the importance of medical equipment donations, particularly for senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWD). 

"The medical equipment provided by the PCSO is a big help to our fellow countrymen, especially to the elderly or senior citizens and to those with physical disabilities or persons with disabilities," he said in Filipino.
