'Oplan Galugad' nets drug suspect in Taguig

The police arrested a man for possession of suspected shabu during an operation in Taguig on Aug. 24.

Personnel from the Taguig police’s Ususan Police Substation 4 conducted an anti-criminality operation through “Oplan Galugad” on Liwayway Street in Barangay Sta. Ana, Taguig.

They apprehended Marvin Lorica, 27, for alleged violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

During the operation, authorities discovered and seized a plastic bag containing suspected shabu, weighing 25 grams, and with an estimated value of P170,000.

The complaint against the suspect was referred to the Taguig police’s Investigation and Detective Management section.
