Several warehouses in Barangay Dampol B, Pulilan, Bulacan were razed by a fire on Wednesday night, August 23.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the blaze started at around 11 p.m. on Wednesday. It was raised to the fifth alarm after just one hour, at about, 12 midnight on Thursday, Aug. 24, as raw materials of plastic pellets stored in the warehouse were quickly gutted by the fire.
Fire Supt. Jeannette Jusayan of the Pulilan BFP said about 28 fire trucks and volunteers from nearby towns responded to the incident.
The BFP declared the fire under control at around 1 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24. Two other warehouses were also affected by the fire.
"Medyo partially damaged siya, although may mga signs na wear and tear na dahil sa init. Pero we still managed na maayos to at nakapag-evacuate naman ng gamit yung may-ari," (It's partially damaged, although there are signs of wear and tear because of the heat. But we still managed and the owner had secured some valuables)," added Jusayan.
The fire at the two warehouses was extinguished by authorities at 4:00 a.m.
No one was hurt during the incident as of press time.
The BFP is still investigating the cause of the fire and estimated damage to property.
